    3. Looks like Philip A. J. to me. Where did you find the William Spain? Or was that from me? ----- Original Message ----- From: JYG <jyg@kc.rr.com> To: <YOUNGER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 07, 2001 1:35 PM Subject: Re: [YOUNGER] Robert Younger, son of John and Lucy Hart > Robert b 1784 Va, d 1870 Halifax, Va; m 16 Nov 1807 Mary Polly Moore. > > -1850 VA Halifax County (023) > 350/350 14 Sep > Robert Younger 66 m farmer $2500/ VA > Mary 60 f VA > Mary M. 21 f VA > Philip A. 3. I am glad I copied these 1850 censuses and attached them to the cards. Ok I'll accept it as a J. It has a tiny loop at the top which looked like a small version of a P but the enumerator seems to have made the J and P similar. Joel is also on this same page. In a family named Young there is an Elizabeth Younger, was this an error by the enumerator or should the Youngs have been Younger or as they stand? Elizabeth Younger 58 f VA; in the home of Susan Young 68 f VA (head of the house); Sarah Young 66 f VA (blind and something else written); with Emanuel Valentine 50 m mulatto laborer VA; Jane Highenacre 32 f mulatto VA. The next head of household is a Frances Bomar 52 f mulatto VA, which has nothing to do with any of this excep the name Bomar. I got the William Spain from a website and lost it as my pc decided to reboot. I am going to try and find it again. I remembered it because it was unusual. If anyone is having trouble with their pc and are running Windows 2000 or Windows NT you need to go to www.microsoft.com/security for a patch to fix the Code Red Virus. This virus makes your pc run slow among other things. If you are a Mac user or run WinME, Win95 or Win 98 this does not effect you. 3. I also wondered about the Elizabeth Younger in home of Susan Young. The enumerator wrote pretty clearly, I don't see anything to make me think it should be Susan and Sarah Young. Also the Elizabeth Younger is easy to read. I don't know what to make of it -- I'm assuming two different surnames. I wonder where the "Spain" comes from -- would be interesting to track it down. ----- Original Message ----- From: JYG <jyg@kc.rr.com> To: <YOUNGER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 07, 2001 2:36 PM Subject: Re: [YOUNGER] Robert Younger, son of John and Lucy Hart > I am glad I copied these 1850 censuses and attached them to the cards.
