    3. NKY submitted: "William Younge settled along the James River in James City County VA 15 Jan 1657" In my notes: Essex County VA Will Book 3:87 1718 William Younge Will -Wife: Katherine -Sons William and Henry (tratc where he now lives to be divided. Boundary witnessed by Richard Bush and Richard Carter -Son: John Younger land bequeathed to William Younge by James Marsh -Daus: Elizabeth, Mary, Kate To the child my wife is now big woth: the land bought of William Smith if it is a male Executors: Wife and sons, William and Henry The question was "Could this be Younger?" My answer is "I don't know". The name Marsh rang a bell with me and I pulled it up in my data base and came up with the family of Mary Younger and Henry Anderson of Kent County MD. Their daughter Elinor married John Marsh. Any connection? I haven't the faintest idea but it is interesting that one of his sons was named Henry.

    3. Saw a handwritten "William Younge" ...had a flourish at the end which denotes "er." I believe it was on one of the religious petitions for Essex County. So any "Younge" could be Younger. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wilma C. 3. Willie...the Bush name and the Carter name are also closely associated with the Essex and the Halifax Youngers. And the name Katherine/Catherine prevails down through generations. Katy/Cathy/Caty, etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wilma C.
