If I recall correctly, at the end of my message, I remarked that I had no more documentation for Maryland than you had for Scotland. It was part of the research of Marguerite Hutchins which I compiled. I found her to be a very cautious and competent researcher so I put the conflicting information in my "to be documented" category. Sorry if you perceived that I was "making a statement" from which I would not retreat. I just need concrete documentation one way or another.
