I'm going to need a kittle help here on the Barry family. I have the parents of Augustus Barry as Bryan Buckner and Mary Murrill Barry. According to my records they have a son Bryan Thomas Barry and a daughter Lillamae who married Grady Ellis. I have Stella Mae Brown McKissick m 30 Dec 1905 Williamson Henry Younger b 12 Jun 1880 Longton,Elk County, Kansas d 1 Apr 1965. Can you help me straighten these folks out? Who's on first? Lillamae and Grady Ellis were my parents, Wilma. Here's a brief: I don't have time to send the whole thing. 1. James D. Barry/Julianna Coombe: DC (circa 1790's...1850's) 2. Griffith Coombe Barry/Mary Wingfield Claybrook; daughter of William Peyton Doswell Claybrook and Narcissa D. Nance 3. Lilly Barry/Edward McGary McKisick (Bosque County and McLennan County, TX. 4. Stella Brown McKisick (named for her music teacher)/Williamson Henry Younger, son of James Williamson Younger. 5. Lillamae Younger/Grady Ellis 6. Me; Brownie Ellis MacKie m. (1) Morris High ch: Craig, 1961; Jeana Marie, 1961; Eric Morris, 1967; Ross Grady, 1969. (2) James D. MacKie, no issue. Some of my McKisick cousins also married Barrys. But they were not marrying cousins. I'll get that info to you later. The most prominent Barry in Tx was James Buckner Barry, a famous indian fighter and Tx Ranger, but as far as I can research, we were not related, although my gg grandfather did a little indian fighting with James B.
