    3. In the last digest I received, I noticed there were references to what must be two different Younger spouses by the name of "Anna Nash". Do we know if they were related? And - please forgive me, I'm new here - Who was "Tomahawk" Thomas? Whether he's in my line or not, I'm very interested in finding out how he got that nickname. Thanks, Stephen _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

    3. I can only find one Anna Nash in my files. That doesn't mean there might not be others but I have no record of it. The only Anna Nash I have was b in Middlesex County VA, daughter of John Nash and Ann Brewer (Parish Register Christ Church 1653-1812) m James Younger b Essex County VA, son of Alexander and Rebecca Mills. Both died in Chatha County NC after 1801. S. 3. I forgot to answer the second part of the question. "Tomahawk" Thomas is a mystery man. We know when he was born and where he lived. We can track his marriages and his children but we haven't been able to connect him to a family -yet. The "Tomahawk" comes from the fact that he settled in "Tomahawk" Township when he settled in Arkansas. Nothing more violent than that! S. Someone in an Internet Tree has him connected to Thomas Younger, son of John Younger and Sarah Kennard. I didn't think this looked right, seeing where they lived. Thanks Wilma. Linda in KCMO

    3. I can answer that. There is a Tomahawk creek and also the township in which he lived in Marion County, Arkansas. I don't think he was know as Tomahawk until a lot of us began searching the Younger line and we began calling him that to distinguish him from the other Thomases.
