The problem with genealogy.com is that it's run by good ole' money grubbin' Family Tree Maker. All they want you to do is buy something. I have a subscription to the library, but do not find it especially helpful anymore. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wilma Norton" <wilma@softcom.net> To: <YOUNGER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 06, 2001 2:46 PM Subject: Re: [YOUNGER] Re:1850 census > > I'm satisfied with ancestry.com also -- just wish the 1900 census was > indexed! Browine- Boy I agree about FTM, they have their foot in everything. I bought their software but don't like it at all. I think I have purchased about every genealogy program out there. I use Generations, the DVD version is great. Wilma- Sorry about the pricing, I belong to several databases and get the charges mixed up. I think it's $19.95 a month for the 1900.
