This is the same as the one found on ancestry.com with one minor exception: that person gave the name of the first dau from the first wife as Salena Caroline, and I think the 1880 census said Celina C. (don't have it in front of me right now.) She lists the wives: 1) Mary Malinda Matheson (dau of Elijah and Violet (??) Matheson) and 2) Margaret "Peggy" Potts (dau. of John and Rachel (Roney) Potts. She has lots of dates for birth/marriage/death and burial locations. I've sent an email asking for sources, will have to wait and see if she answers. ----- Original Message ----- From: Wilma C. The Executor was son Arthur. The will was witnessed by Sarah Hambleton, George Sparks and Benjamin Merchant. He was fined 30 s., and ordered to give security to keep the country from any charge by means of his bastard child called Alexander. Judy, From the "Gene Pool Individual Records" (of which I assume is a collection of family names such as done in Family Tree and the IGI; it does not state it's source) comes Asa Finley Harlow, son of Rice G. Wilma Hillman I have been thru one file cabinet drawer but only have the following documentation. I am still looking for the letter. "Biographical Appendix, Pg. 792, History of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Physicians & Surgeons Dr. William H. H. Younger Prominent among the leading physicians and surgeons of El Dorado Springs stands the name of the above-mentioned gentleman who was born in Orange County, N. C. in 1815, being the son of the Rev. Robert A. and Edith (Horn) Younger, natives of Baltimore, Md. and Orange County, N. C. respectively. They were married in the last named county and in 1830 removed to Boone County, Mo., where they were among the earliest settlers. There Mrs. Younger died and Mr. Younger afterward married Mrs. Wallace of Chariton County, and in that county spent the balance of his life. He died in 1867. He was a Methodist minister of considerable ability, was also a life-long teacher and was in the War of 1812 with Gen. Harrison. His father, Capt. Henry Younger, was a Scotchman, and was captain of the Navy Yard at Baltimore, Md. for many years. He died in Orange County, N. C." Donna Green Nash

Wilma, when I was researching my data to find info on whether Henry Younger was born in Maryland or Scotland, I found the following. The information was received by email (author unknown) and I noted that it was unproven. I placed it in a file to research and haven't gotten back to it. Since you all are researching this family - I wondered if you could document any part of it. (1) Alexander Younger b 1686 Scotland d 1727 Essex VA m Rebecca Mills b 1680 Essex VA. 2) Thomas Younger b 1720 Glasgow Scotland d 1791 Halifax VA wife unknown 3) James Younger m Mary M. Watkins 3) Henry Younger m Sarah Anderson Heathman 3) Alexander Younger Thanks, Donna Green Nash
I checked 1830 Census Index - no Youngers in GA at that time. Don't have 1840 yet -- ordered it but it is on backorder and will be awhile before I get it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Wilma C.
