    3. Willie -- the James I was trying to connect to a family is the one who married Harriet (Newbill - I THINK???) and is found in the 1850-60-70-Carroll Co. TN census records. Harriet appears as a widow in 1880 Gibson Co. Would you happen to know who the parents are for this James? Wilma ----- Original Message ----- From: Wilma C. 2. Wilma, I still don't see how you got "C"yrus... out of "Sia S." and "S. S." Cyrus Sharp appears to be Mary's brother, and we can guess that she named her son after him, but that's not what the documentation really shows. That seems to be just another assumption. I'm sticking with Silas S., nickname Sia. Does anyone know what happened to that Bible??? I'd sure love to have an actual copy of those pages!!

    2. Silas Stokes? I'd like to see some documentation with "Stokes" on it too. I've only seen that on a family tree at FTM that I found too many errors in to count. Fleming Younger (son of William Gray) died in the Civil War. His wife Mary Meadows Younger moved to IL and married Milton Baker. Sarah was Fleming and Mary's daughter and Sia Washington Younger is their son.

    2. I have George's father's name as Silas or "Sia". I have this from numerous sources. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen Cyrus except on the internet, but could be mistaken. My cousin had a list of names taken from the Sharp-Younger Family Bible (I'd sure like to see it myself!!) and he was listed as "S. S. (Silas) Younger". On the 1850 Iredell Co, NC census, he is listed as "Sia S. Younger". His brother Fleming has a son on the 1860 Wilkes Co, NC census named Silas (and he also went by Sia). Someone point me to some documentation with the name Cyrus, and I'll be happy to look at it. In a message dated 8/14/01 10:03:45 PM Eastern Daylight Time, wilma@softcom.net writes: << George W. 2. They had a son Francis Marion, but he was born in 1880. He was their last child. All the names I have are from the IGI and it was a NC list that my cousin had printed when at the LDS Library back in the 70's or 80's! I have them all down as born in Wilkes Co, NC... I guess that's all wrong! How can I get PAF or FTM to create a decendency report that I can copy and paste???? I know I've done it before, but I'm having no luck now!
