    1. [YOUNGER] Ella Elliot as she relates -or not- to James B. Younger
    2. Wilma C. Hillman
    3. At some point I received the information that John B. Younger, son of William Gray Younger Jr. was married to Ella Elliot. The 1900 census is quite clear that he is married to an Emma. Someone submitted here that he married Harriet Emma Guthrie. Ok, I thought Ella Elliot must be an error. The next piece of paper I picked up was the Cemetery records from the Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Montague County, TX. There, big as life (or death) is Ella Elliot Younger b 1872 d 1902 and James B Younger b 1861 d 1935. Both are buried in D-32 making me believe they are buried together. Any help out there?

Wilma- I may have gotten this from you, but this is what I have on your James Younger b 1810 Halifax, Va; d Sep 1835 Halifax, Va; m Sarah Anderson who marries Joseph Goodman in 1837 also in Halifax, Va. If the above is correct it would make sense that he died there, else Sarah would have married elsewhere and not likely have gone back to Halifax. I have nothing to back this up. 3. Actually, that is my dilemma. I have that family group in my computer - now - but they are just dangling there - unconnected. 3. Many years ago I photocopied all of the Younger family group sheets I could find in the Sl main library. Many of the same names you are all researching. Note of caution. Many of the sheets contains errors.. assumptions. I will gladly check, but most of them should be on the IGI of the Mormon's site. Many of these had some errors. Also the original census indexes published by AIS under Ron Jackson have a 15 to 20% error factor. The AIS search on microfiche is reduced to a 5% error. From bitter experience I learned to double check census indexes. Ohio, Tenn and those put out by other concerns were much more accurate. Bette

    3. Dear Wilma and all.. My Newton Jasper Younger with parents and siblings should be in the Ancestral File I have worked on this line for many years, but not as diligently as you all have. For John Q. who married Amanda Taylor. He served in the Civil War and was a double amputee. He like his brother was a black smith who was wounded at the Battle of Vicksburg. He returned to Mechanicsburg, Ill and Springfield Ill. His son John Franklin Younger is listed in History of Sangamon Co., page 172. If you need a gedcon copy of my records, just ask and send your address. Bette.
