Sometimes it depends on whether you are talking about the date the bond was issued or the date when the marriage actually happened. Since these dates are so close I would suggest that that might be the case here with John and Mary As for Mary's birth date, since both May and March start with Ma , it may be a typo. I can't account for the difference in the birth year. The date you have for Mary's death would have her dying before she was born - Aug 1787 Finally I can't account for the confusion with Mary Lucinda's marriages. I would suggest we fall back on the documentation. I have to say at the outset I do not have any documentation on the Younger/Mayberrys. If you have documentation, please share it and I will make the appropriate changes. We must remember Ms Hutchins was just like the rest of us. I am certain she made mistakes, too. I respect her work as a researcher and have tried to share it as accurately as I could but I know she wasn't perfect- JYG wrote: > Have some differences here: > Tn Marriages has the date 18 Jan 1817 for Mary and John Mayberry. > I have Mary b 11 Mar 1792 Chatham, Nc, Usa; ded Aug 1787 Kanesville, Weber, > Ut, Usa > I also have Lucinda married first aft 1872 Wilkes, Nc, to Reuben B. Try Marion County. I don't know about James, but I do know there were Ledfords there. Don't know the years. That's all I had, from a marriage index CD - just their names and marriage date and location. Pope Co. is the only other possibility I can think of. Seems quite a few of the AR Youngers migrated over into OK 1900 and after - so that would be another possibility, but I don't have a clue as to which county. Thanks for checking. ----- Original Message ----- From: JYG <jyg@kc.rr.com> To: <YOUNGER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 16, 2001 1:44 PM Subject: Re: [YOUNGER] 1900 Census information > Wilma N.- > > James W. CY- What about Youngers in Hampshire county, WV, would that be close to Mason county? This si where it is stated Joshua "Logan" Younger was from? Since we have established his line is NOT related to the Scots, we are looking for their correct ancestry. There may be a German connection yet...or English?? The James Younger/Hariet in the 1850 Carroll County census cannot be the same James that was brother to William and Williamson Younger, because he was alive in 1850 and married to Harriett. The brother of William and Williamson died in 1835 in Halifax. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! I don't have any documentation to the contrary, There were lots of James and lots of William's in those days.
