Get your little blue ribbon out for freedom of speech. Speak of ludicrous--to actually block genealogical information from a genealogy list!! Dark ages. Sue, shall we run our credentials by Roy Best and prove we've been somewhat assimilated into yonega society and we don't carry tomahawks anymore. Really wonderful hearing from you again Sue. Cozette Dinius FAW Band Sacramento County Mental Health Senior Peer Counselor Charlie Royall, Are you and Nancy still subscribed to the Youngblood list? I was just asked not to mention Indian blood on the list--I forward the messages: This was a message I wrote in response to "Eileen's" message--the responses and refusal to post any more of my messages follows: When I signed-up for the Cherokee list, I was asked, "What are some of your surnames?" Along with a zillion others I do not know nor have a lot of time to do the research needed to be done, I responded and included,"Youngblood." The list administrator then said, "Yes, you are welcome, Youngblood is a Cherokee name." She also said many times it was shortened to Young but mostly remained Younglbood. Good people.. I wrote back and asked, "Did you send everyone who was writing on the list about Native Americans the same message?" No response from "Roy"--this is when I received the "AutoResponder" message telling me to send my e-mails to Grayce Maldanado. Then my messages are bounced--then Sue wrote to the list. I responded to Sue's message and wrote two other messages--but they were not posted.
