I have information for several families that moved from MS to Sabine Parish. I'll have to look and see what info I have if any on Lewis. These dates all recorded in the family bible. Sarah is buried in YOUNGBLOOD Cemetery, Panola Co, TX but the reserved grave site adjacent to her is empty. The family does not know where Samuel died or buried. His wife did receive a Civil War pension. Sarah moved to TX with the children in 1874. Their son Sherod Luther is my g-grandfather.
