    3. When I signed-up for the Cherokee list, I was asked, "What are some of your surnames?" Along with a zillion others I do not know nor have a lot of time to do the research needed to be done, I responded and included,"Youngblood." The list administrator then said, "Yes, you are welcome, Youngblood is a Cherokee name." She also said many times it was shortened to Young but mostly remained Younglbood. Good people..
