My name is Prudence Youngblood. I am not sure if this is the correct place to post my information. If this is not the correct place, let me know. My husband is descended from Rubin Youngblood, (living in 1854 but not on the census of Dec. 1860) He came from England via Charleston and settled in the Fletcher,NC area of Hooper's Creek. His children were William (Billy), Jasper Newton, Joseph, Rubin Pinkney, Sarah, and Mary. My husband descended from William (Billy). I would be interested in hearing from anyone who knows more about this branch of Youngbloods. We too have heard that there is an Indian connection, but I have not found any evidence of it.
