I have been researching the Youngblood surname for over a year now and I have hit a brick wall. My grandmother was Edith Nora Youngblood - b: 2/18/1922 d: 10/11/1972 @ mobile Al Her father was: Charles H. Youngblood - b: 8/17/1879 d: 8/28/1947 @ Laurel MS. He married Lena Edna Upchurhc in 2/5/1910 His father was - John Youngblood. All I know about him is that he was born in Georgia. He married Margaret Galloway. She was born in Newton Cty, Mississippi so I figure they married there. Thought there are no records of the marriage. Margaret died in Jones Cty Mississippi in 1924.She was a widow at that time. This is were my brick wall is. I can't find any information on John Youngblood. It is said that my ancesters came from Cherokee Indian. My Great grandfather "Charlie" He sure looked like and Indian from his pictures. Anyone with information would be greatly appreciated. Or even where I should look next??? Akent111@aol.com
