Hello, Good to see all the YOUNGBLOOD activity - I descend from Samuel and Gracie Ann MARTIN YOUNGBLOOD - Samuel was born in Edgefield, SC about 1788 - his first wife was Martha ----. Samuel shows up in the census in Abbeville in 1810 and then moved (before 1820) to a farm on the banks of the Keowee River where he lived, died, and is now buried. It was then Pendleton District and is now Pickens County, SC. My line migrated many miles since 1820 and now exists about 8 miles away in the town on Pickens. Most of Samuel's descendants are very well documented - his ancestors are not as well documented - some believe his father was also Samuel ((Southern Indiana Youngbloods).
