    3. Especially for Timothy C. Hoskins: I am quoting from a book entitled: THOMAS YOUNGBLOOD FAMILY by Cloys and Smith which states the following: Martha Ann Youngblood m. 23Jan1845 in Marshall County KY, by Henry Darnall, M.G. to William Thweatt. Martha Ann was the 10th, and last child of Amos Caril Youngblood I (1770/80-21Oct1836) d. Calloway County, Ky, m. 1800 in Edgefield County, South Carolina to Elizabeth "Betsy"___(1786-1870) b. VA. d. Lafayette County, MS. In 1841, Betsy was on the Marshall County, KY tax list. In 1850 Eudora and James were living with Betsy, Lafayette County, MS, (probably grandchildren.) Martha Ann Youngblood's 9 siblings were as follows: 1. Eudora Ann Celestine Youngblood m. Isaac Lafayette McCain. They had 12 children. 2. Sallie Youngblood m. Burrell Jones. They had 10 children. 3. Female Youngblood, b. SC in 1813. 4. Elvira Catherine Youngblood m. William W. Jones. Had 4 children. 5. Mary Polly Youngblood m. Dozier Jones. 10 children. 6. William F. Youngblood m. Sarah J. Thweatt. 5 children. 7. C. W. "Cad" Youngblood m. 1) Lucy F. Reed, and 2) Nancy Burgess. One child by Lucy, and 5 by Nancy. 8. Female Youngblood. 9. Amos Caril Youngblood II m. Martha Jane Haley. 9 children. According to a descendant of hers, Elvira Catherine Youngblood was part Cherokee Indian which would make all of the above Youngbloods part Cherokee also. However, this is denied by other members of this family. What do you know about an Indian heritage, I would like to know? This book goes on in detail to tell the descendancy of the family of Amos Caril Youngblood II, and tells more also about some of the early descendants of Amos Caril I. It also tells of their ancestry, but some of the ancestry is in dispute. If interested in a copy, I suggest you E-Mail Wayne Youngblood: youngblood@apex.net His Aunt wrote was one of the co-authors and he would know how to obtain a copy. I am a Youngblood related to you. Hope to hear from you. Beverly Rich
