    1. [YOUNGBLOOD-L] Inappropriate Posting

    3. Dear Youngblood Family and Dorothy, I appreciate reminding of our "rules" and "appreciate use" and believe we should respect each other. I personally do not want to believe the reminder message was intended for Dorothy. If so, I believe it is out of order. Let me explain. The message Dorothy posted, and others like it, are appropriate and needed! We ARE here to share our research and encourage each other as we hunt relentlessly. Yet, we ARE also here to discuss authenticity of documents and make sure of the accuracy of our research. We need to be aware of discrepancies and information that has been published that does not match up. Too many people publish books today without proof of family origin. I , along with many of our Youngblood family, believe this must be corrected and want the Youngblood Line to be as "PURE" as we can help it be to preserve it for the future. We live in a society that is saying that we must "tolerate" each other and that "each person has the right to believe what is true and who is to say it is not true" ... This is wrong thinking as far as genealogy research is concerned and many other things. There is absolute truth and true facts in our family research. We should not feel bad when we need to debate or when someone finds contrary facts. We should be thankful and engage in discussion. This is what moves us to the true facts. Therefore, Youngblood Cousins I do not believe it is improper or against the policies of RootsWeb to correct research that has been produced knowingly or unknowingly with wrong information. Also, we have freedom to debate each others findings when we see need. This is what makes our study refined and purifies our authenticity. We together are much stronger than apart. If someone can not "handle" or "accept" this kind of scrutiny then such a person will have a hard time refining their research. We need this and I encourage Dorothy and others to continue to openly share discrepancies if it is presented on our YOUNGBLOOD -List. Futhermore , Dorothy and others please do not stop pointing out discrepancies. This is needed. I appreciate your humility and generosity and we do need to be kind but not at the expense of getting to the truth. Keep those emails going and research postings going. Do not fear the dreaded "that s a no no from someone". We need to be bold and hold to high standards. We need to openly share facts about our line even when it is a little uncomfortable. We need to protect the integrity of our Youngblood Family Research. This is right and proper. Keep it going Cousins!
