    3. Hi Sharon, Our Youngbloods probably don't intersect unless it's further up the line. Couple of notes on your email... <Thomas Youngblood married Mary Coale.> In the book "YOUNGBLOOD - ARMSTRONG and Allied Families, Frances Youngblood & Floelle Youngblood Bonner write: "Thomas YOUNGBLOOD on tax list in Gun Powder Hungred, Baltimore Co., MD.... married c1707 to Mary, surname believed to be MILES. Their son, John Miles YOUNGBLOOD ...baptised 31 Oct 1708 in St. George Parish, Baltimore Co. Thomas died and his wife remarried to John MILES, presumed a relative .... In 1722, John MILES wrote his will, in which he made his "well beloved wife," Mary MILES, the executor ..." He goes on name two other people, one his stepson, (there's more on this, but the important part is...) John Miles YOUNGBLOOD married, 21 Jan 1729, Mary COALE (see St. George Parish Register) Their known children were Henry Miles YOUNGBLOOD, b. 17 Jan 1730; Mary YOUNGBLOOD b. 7 Sept 1732; John YOUNGBLOODb. 17 Oct 1734 (St. George Parish) and Thomas YOUNGBLOOD b. 11 Dec 1736 (St. James Church, Ann Arundel Co., MD) My Benjamin YOUNGBLOOD b. 20 Oct 1773 GA d. 15 Jan 1860, Marion Co., MS; m. 20 Dec 1794, Richmond Co., GA Susannah COLLINS b. 16 May 1775, Edgefield Co., SC d. 19 Nov 1866, Marion Co., MS All of us BY/SC descendants are stuck here with Benjamin's line; we can trace Susannah's further back. However, this is the YOUNGBLOOD list, so I'll stay on that surname. If anyone's interested in COLLINS, email me directly and we won't clutter the wrong list. There have been various assertions as to whom Benjamin's father may be, but nothing definitive has materialized; no siblings either, which would be unusual in this time frame. I believe his father was NOT another Benjamin, wrong time frame and location, other Benjamin's heirs named, etc. I also don't believe he descends from Thomas YOUNGBLOOD and Amy HOPKINS because Amy's father, Jesse HOPKINS named his grandchildren in a "Deed of Gift" dated 18 Sep 1799 and none of my Benjamin and Susannah's children born by then were named. If I can help further, let me know, Regards, Joyce
