I also have been looking for a Cherokee connection. It is there somewhere, but I have not found it. There are 6 Youngbloods on the Cherokee Rolls but they are listed as Black Freedmen mix. I have not looked at any of the associated lines that connect yet. It is a long slow process doing Native American Research but am still working on it. Also am looking at the records from Creek and Choctaw in Mississippi and Georgia and North Carolina. The Youngbloods at one time lived in the what was at the time the Choctaw Nation in Mississippi. How about Elizabeth Sharp? Martha Fanning? Martha Davis? Susanah Birgit? The wives of Youngbloods.
