Does anyone know anythin about Soloman Youngblood who died in the Goliad Massacre in 1836? I saw his name on the monument over the mass grave where approximately380 men, murdered by Santa ana, were buried. His company was Company #1 under Captain William Wadsworth of the Georgia Battalian. Later he was in Captain James Winn's Company #3 also of the Georgia Battalian. Both of these captains were from Georgia, and the Georgia Battalian consisted mostly of men from Georgia and Alabama. A few Mississippi and Louisiana men may have been added as the group traveled from Georgia to Texas, in 1835. Kay Walker
