Rev., he served as a captain (c1782). Later, as lieut. col. commandant of the Colleton Co. Reg. of militia (c1788). St. Bartholomew elected him to the 7th Gen. Assy. (1787-1788); resigend the House seat 27 Feb 1788 when chosen a tax collector and assessor. ... he represented St. Bartholomew in the 10th Gen. Assy. (1792-1794).
