    3. It's been a while since I was interested in the genealogy of my family. Upon a computer crash I lost my gen-file and the program. What I do remember though was the files were somewhat standardized. But I was never able to find anyone to share my info with and vice versa. I have a lot of the lineage on paper and with the new computer I will soon be building my file again, with backups! :-) What I wanna know is, where can I go to trade files?????????????

Lewis was born ca 1762, place unknown, died Feb 1822 in Edgefield Co., SC. Married Mary--- born ca 1776 and died Sept. 1842 in Edgefield Co. They were probably married ca 1794. Lewis is listed in the 1810 SC census (Edgefield Co.) with 5 sons, 2 daughters and wife. His Will (I have a copy) lists his children in the following order: Abner b. ca 1795 Gideon b. ca 1797 Thomas b. ca 1799 Basel b. ca 1802 married Ann Fleming Dec 26, 1833 Catherine b. 1804 (MY GGGRANDMOTHER)married Alfred Franklin Mayo. Sarah b. ca 1805 William b. ca 1806 The SC Roster states that while residing in the 96th District he served in the Militia after the fall of Charleston. His brothers Samuel and Joseph also served. Lewis is probably the son of Peter b. ca 1732, d. ca 1788 and his wife Susannah. There are a lot of Lewis' & Peters but this William, son of Lewis seems to fit. Lewis's siblings are: Samuel Joseph Rebecca Liddy Sarah Susannah Margaret I hope this gives you some clues. Regards, Jean Mayo Hirsch --------------A2638555E9B82FF9EBF8DF64--

    3. Beverly, I am behind with the e-mails and am answering your 10/25/98 message. I want to thank you for the wonderful tidbits. I am a descendant of William Wilson and Susannah Youngblood (b. ca 1828 TN, daughter of William Youngblood (b. 1770-1780, resided in Madison Co AR). Ambrose YB (b. 1835 AR) and Martha YB (b. 1831 TN) lived with their sister Susannah per 1850 Crawford Co. AR census. I haven't been able to find Ambrose or Martha after that census. I believe William YB and family (4 boys and 4 females) moved to Madison Co TN from Jackson Co. TN in between 1832 & 1834. I have been searching for any living descendant since 1982 so I am still stuck with this. Thanks a million, Vontrece Miller

    1. [YOUNGBLOOD-L] Youngblood/Jungblut IN 1850 to MN
    2. To all, I'm new on this list, so I'll post what I have in case anyone is interested. My great, great grandfather Adolph Albachten came to Indiana before 1850 with his mother Anna Maria Elizabeth Adolphina Pellengahr. Anna had married first (1813) an Albachten and second Jungblut (1827 in Germany). In the 1850 census, she is listed "Eliza Youngblood, age 60" living with Adolph Albachten 32 in Miami Co, IN. With them are other members of the Albachten family and the Hartman family they traveled with. Adolph's wife was Anna Hartman 26 and his half-sister Anna Youngblood 22 married Charles Hartman 31, Adolph's brother- in-law. Also with them are Louisa Jungblut 19 and Anton Jungblut 20 and Theresa 19 (presumably his wife). I don't know what happened to them. The Albachtens and Hartmans moved to MN before 1860, first to Shakopee and them to Duluth. Incidentally, last summer, I visited the farm south of Muenster, Germany where Anna Maria Pellengahr (Jungblut) was born in 1790, still owned by my mother's 4th cousin, a lovely gentleman who was surprised to hear from the family in America, which the family in Germany hadn't since before 1860. Any connections? Mike Pierce
