Hello list members, I am searching for information on the family of Robert Young, who ca. 1784, in Rutherford Co. Nc. married Mary (Mackey) Musick, born ca. 1769 Rutherford Co. Nc. Mary and Robert, had three known children, 1.. Lewis Young 2.. Robert Young Jr. 3.. Susannah (nickname Suckey) Young I have no other information on this Young family, they may have moved with the Musick family, when they moved from Nc. to St. Louis, Co. Mo. Mary (Mackey) Musick, was my ggg grd-mother she first married ca. 1780 in NC. to Lewis Musick, born 1750, Va. died around July 1782, they were the parents of one child, my gg grd-mother Janett "Jane" Musick born 6 Jan 1781, died 11 Oct. 1834 Jefferson Co. Ky. she married Charles Duncan 1802, Bourbon Co. Ky. Mary, was the daughter of Alexander Mackey, born 1718, Albemarle Co. Va. died 1784, Rutherfordton, Rutherford Co. NC. (I have a copy of his Will) her mother was Susannah Lewis, born 1720 Hanover Co. Va. (sister of Lewis Musick's mother, Sarah, daughters of David & Betty Ann (Terrel) Lewis). I would love to correspond with anyone who may have information on the Young family, I have a lot of information on Musick & Duncan families to share.
