Not mine, but found last night while at the library looking for the elusive Henry T. D. YOUNG born July 4, 1847, in Ohio and the only place we found him is Chariton Cty. MO. with wife and family. On to the YOUNG found. Shelby County, MO. census 1870 living with the Lewis family Rueben Lewis, head, 58 Elizabeth wife , 40 Dillwin son , 22 , closest could come to spelling William son , 20 James son, 14 Joseph son , 12 Rebecca YOUNG , 70 Sallie Riches ?? (black) domestic 23 Albert Riches, 4 (black) Daniel Smith (white) farmhand Rueben through Rebecca were all white for race. The Lewis family and Rebecca all born in Pa. Sorry did not write down or notice the others birth place. So speculation the wife Elizabeth was most likely a YOUNG born in Pa. daughter of Rebecca. Women are really hard to track because of maiden names as we all know. I especially try to put one down when found. Oddly enough she was the only YOUNG surname I found in entire county for that census year. I also searched through 1860 and did not see her. I did not look or notice to see if the Lewis family was there. Just looking at every name trying to find YOUNG surname for the 1860-70 Shelby Cty. census. At least that is a couple of places I know Henry was not. Judy Born with a 12 foot question, looking for a 6 inch answer
