    1. Re: [YOUNG] Nellie Young Marriage
    2. The CD is titled; Early Iowa Marriages, Copyright 1999 by Charles Morford. (500,000 Early Iowa Marriages 1834-1900.) One more thought on this. Once you have the date of the marriage, the local newspaper might have carried an article. This would list parents and other family. You might be able to find volunteer look-ups through the Dallas county USGENWEB site, the rootsweb mailing list for the county, local genealogy society, or local library. I have had good luck with all of these in other counties. Also, if you send for a copy of the marriage from the county clerk (I think I said county court in my previous e-mail. The brain was not connecting to the fingers.), be sure to look at who officiated at the wedding. Sometimes this can tell you which church the family belonged to. Even if it only says the Rev. so and so, sometimes further research will reveal which church the Reverend was with. http://www.rootsweb.com/~iadallas/lookups.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~iadallas/Societies.htm From the Dallas County USGENWEB Site Young, S., farmer, Sec. 18; P.O.
