I found what appears to be several listings in the KY Federal Census Population Schedules Indexes as follows: 1860 & 1870 Casey County, KY (1850 Slave Schedule-may be owner), 1860, 1870 Kenton County, KY 1870 Lincoln County, KY Note it appears as if the marriage of Fountain Young and Mary E. Hines was 15 Feb 1869 in Lincoln County, KY Then there is no listing of Fountain Young in KY in the 1880 Census, according to the national index at www.familysearch.org; although there is one listing in TX for a soldier, aged 30.

Thanks. There is a Fountain Young in 1880 KY. He is in Lincoln Co., Hustonville, page 70a (ancestry.com image 46).
