Cousin Leona and I are still searching for our elusive YOUNG ancestors. This was a large family; there must be someone out there descended from this family. John Thomas YOUNG, b. 1804 in Allegheny Co, PA. He married Nancy Jane ALLISON, b. 1805 in PA. They had ten children: Allison, James Stinson, Jerusha, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Morgan, John Scott, Charity M., Julius Lemoine, Lydia Jane, and Winston Milton Gaius. All were born in Mercer County, PA. Lydia Jane died as a young child. About 1854 John and Nancy moved their family to Jo Daviess County, IL. John died in 1874 and Nancy in 1895. Both are buried in Jo Daviess Co. Most of their children with the exception of Charles Morgan moved further westward to Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska. Charles Morgan spent the remainder of his life in Jo Daviess Co. Any help with this family greatly appreciated.
