    1. Henry YOUNG(JUNG) in MD/PA 1775
    2. Well, I haven't put my brick wall out for a while, so I'll try again, since there's been some discussion of German Youngs. My 5GGrandfather was Henry YOUNG, b. 1775 in probably MD. He married Elizabeth MORNINGSTAR in abt. 1799 in, I believe, Hanover, York County, PA. According to an early 1900s newspaper article where Henry's descendants gave a family history at a reunion, Henry was the son of Henry YOUNG, who was born in 1750 in Germany, came to the United States, fought in the Revolution and settled in MD. I believe he could have been JUNG, as there were several Henry JUNGs listed in records in Hanover, York Co., PA. Henry and Elizabeth's first 2 children, Elizabeth and Adam were born in 1800 and 1803, prior to moving to Preble County, Ohio in 1805. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thanks!
