LOUIS HENRY1 YOUNG was born December 13, 1856 in Texas, Van Zandt County, and died January 06, 1922 in Texas, Rains County. Burial: Yantis Cemetery, Wood County TX. He married MARTHA ELIZABETH PORTER Abt. 1902, daughter of PINCKNEY COLUMBUS PORTER and MARGARET WHITE. She was born October 02, 1876 in Lexington, Alabama Lauderdale County, and died April 04, 1973 in Greenville, Texas Hunt County. Notes for LOUIS HENRY YOUNG: 1920 Wood County TX Census documents both of Louis Young's parents were born in VA. Louis Young suffered from 2 strokes and was treated at the Marlin Clinic in Marlin, TX near Mineral Wells. He traveled, with his wife, by train, for the hot mineral bath treatments. Louis Henry Young may have been married prior to 1903. He may have a son/adopted son by the name of "Josh" who would have been born in the late 1890's to 1900. This boy may have lived in California and I may not be remembering the name correctly. He made only one appearance about 1920 and was never heard from again.
