Seeking information on my 4g grandmother, H. Cateren YOUNG, August 07, 1762 in New York. Date of death is unknown, but conjecture she died about 1815. Seeking information on her parents, origins, ancestors, and other relatives. The only information I have on H. Cateren Young is her name and who she married..this data was taken from the Turnbull/Fredendall family bible, that at one time was in the possession of my Reese relatives. H. Cateren Young married Walter Turnbull in 1787 in NY. They lived in the Duanesburg, Schenectady Co., NY area. Walter Turnbull is listed on the 1810 NY US Census with his family in Duanesburg. Children of this marriage were: 1. Robert Turnbull born August 24, 1789 2. Andrew Turnbull born November 01, 1791 3. Thomas Turnbull born February 15, 1794 4. Mary Turnbull born July 09, 1796; died March 15, 1863 in IL. + Frederick Frydendall Bet. 1819 - 1820 in Duanesburg. 5. Walter Turnbull born June 27, 1813 6. Jane Turnbull born May 03, 1815 Walter and Jane may be children of a 2nd marriage of Walter Turnbull, however no 2nd wife was listed in the Bible.
