Boy, did this get my attention!! I too am researching a JASPER NEWTON YOUNG. But.......... My Jasper was found in Habersham County Georgia. He was killed in the civl war-story goes that he was killed in action-beheaded! His line is still being researched. Because I know so little yet about this direct line Young family, yet I may not be of any help. I have a feeling that these are two different Jasper Newton Youngs, but who knows. I can share with you what detail I do have -it is just fairly new to me, will have to review it first. I do know that the Habersham county Young line is found in census records and about 2 generations can be found in that county. Let me review material and will submit to the list for viewing.
