Young early and I can't find mine later. I don't know what the middle initial "W" stands for in his name. . . . . . and the 1850 census (for Washington County, Arkansas) is the ONLY one that I've found him in. If this James W. Young is connected to the Jasper County, Missouri family as I believe that he is, there is a chance that the family was originally from Germany. The only reason that I say that is that I would trace this line to Jefferson County, Kentucky where they were connected to other German families there: BLANKENBACKER, CROOKS, BRINLEY etc. If I ever do find a positive connection, I will post it on this List as well as on GenForum.
