I am looking for a Henry Young also and wonder if there is even a tiny chance if this is the same one. I found him in 1850 and 1860 in Jasper County, Missouri -- then he completely disappeared, wife and children gone??? He could have moved further west or he could have gone to Texas - many did. My Henry YOUNG was b. ca 1824 in Indiana. His children (who would have been grown by 1880) were Eli, Ervin/Irving, Albina J., John J. and William C. Henry, of course, is a very common name and I don't expect it to be the same one. But who knows? Jody >> Jody , I have been looking for a John J. Young for quite a while. My John J. appears to be dropped by space ship into Berrien County Ga. around age 20. I find him in the Berrien Co. Light Infantry 50th Reg. Co. I John J. Young b. abt 1840 married Rebecca Dampier in Berrien Co. in 1882. I do not know any information on him other that what I have found. Maybe we could work together on this .......
