Young Pittsburg, March 14, United States District Attorney James S. Young was yesterday appointed to the place on common pleas court No. 2 of this county, made vacant by the resignation of Judge Elliot Rodgers, who resigned some weeks ago. Governor Pennypacker made the appointment in the afternoon. It went to the senate at Harrisburg last evening and was confirmed.
