I am searching for any information regarding John Calvin Young. He is my great grand father and was born in 1854 in Missouri. He spent a large amount of time in Kansas (some in Coffeyville). How do I go about finding the parents? I think this is a census record of him, but I cannot be sure. John C. I would very much like to see you find some connections since some of my Virginia/Kentucky YOUNGs moved to Boone County Missouri a little earlier than that, but I don't have any evidence of a connection. You are showing the 1880 Census, correct? I would certainly begin searching the 1860 census for Missouri for a Young family with John Calvin as a 6-year old child and then 1870 as a 16-year old.
