Hi Aaron: Go to http://www.clanyoung.org for a Young coat of arms, it's history, clan tartan, etc. I happened to stumble on it one day. Young is supposedly a Scottish name, not Irish, which surprised me, but it is an interesting web site. Read the historical story about the sewing of the American flag, if you like trivia. Usually there's many family crest for any one surname, especially if you have a very common surname. You must trace your family line back to a family member who wore a family crest to claim this as your family crest...and if you want to be technical, the crest is suppose to follow from the person who carried the crest to his eldest son...and down each generations eldest son.... to actually claim a crest as being your crest. I'm not picky myself, I think if you can find an ancestor who held a family crest is sufficient enough for me. Good luck in your quest.
