    2. The next one I have come across in the books History Of Warren County Ohio. This biography is about Daniel Brininger retired farmer P.O. Franklin son of Andrew and Elizabeth (Young) Brininger was born in Franklin Township July 15, 1818, he was reared on a farm and received in a common school education. His parents emigrated from Hagerstown Md. in 1807 and bought over 500 acres of land south of the present village of Franklin, there being only 3 log houses in the village at that date. His father died Feb. 1856, his mother Feb. 1841. At their death Daniel rec'd 110 & 3/4 acres, he cleared about 75 and erected a fine house, barn and out buildings. Mr. B. was married in Centerville, Washington Twshp. Montgomery Cty. Ohio Sept. 20 1844 to Mary daughter of Daniel B. and Susanna Fox, who were also settlers. She was born near Centerville, July 6, 1822. As they never had any children of their own they took one to raise - -Mary S. Johnson of whom they thought of much as if she had been their own child. She was married to John H. Schneck and has now 5 children, her oldest son Daniel R. telegraph operator in the employ of the CCC & I R. R. Co. In Sept 1873 they sold their farm and the following April they moved to Franklin to lead a retired life. The health of Mr. B. being very much impaired by overwork. He bought 2 lots on Center St. size 125 X 400 Ft. where he has erected a fine brick residence at a cost of over $5,000. Judy Born with a twelve foot question, looking for a six inch answer.
