Eileen, I found this Benjamin Young in the 1880 census. In fact he is the only Benjamin, b England, in the index. He is a miner, but his age is a couple of years off. That is not unusual for this census. Typical, I have seen! As to William, I find a couple, also in Pennsylvania, but again the age is 1844 birthdate, and they are not miners. One is a cigar maker, and one is an engineer of some kind. This Benjamin spent some time in Wales, could Wm have gone there too? I suppose you do not know their wives names?
