I would enjoy hearing from the descendants of GARRETT & MARY BERRY YOUNG: GARRETT YOUNG, b.1811 in KY, d. 1865 in Titus County TX. Mary was b. January 9,1825 in Orange County Indiana, d. 7-15-1892.. Garrett & Mary are buried at Shiloh Cemetery in Titus County TX. I recently visited and have photos. They married in Benton, MO 1841. They are buried in the Shiloh Cemetery in Titus County. He was living in Titus County Texas during the years of 1847-1865, with his wife, MARYANN BERRY. Their children were: Benjamin, Alexander, Sarah, Amanda, Lewis, Celia, Elizabeth, Twins: Tabitha & Tilitha, and Mary. Child # 5, Lewis Young, was my grandfather. His first wife was "Sallie Wommack", married abt 1880, together in 1900 Wood County TX Census. I have no other information on her. I am interested in her information because she was a part of my grandfather's life for about 20 years, and he must have loved her. His second marriage to MARTHA (MATTIE) PORTER, abt 1902.
