On my father's side, James McCready who came from Scotland about 1820s married Jane Young of the Niagara region and I am trying to find out more about her family. On my mother's side, my grandmother was Mary Ella Young born late in the 1880s and at the time of her marriage in 1911 lived in Bertie Township of Niagara region. Of course I wonder if there was any connection between the families and also whom they are descendents of. I know my grandmother Jackson's brothers (Ward and Fred) moved to the U.S. (Connecticut and Michigan). If anyone has knowledge of these Youngs I would appreciate hearing from you.
