I'm looking for info on James Alfred Young and his wife Elizabeth. James was born October 29, 1876 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He began working for the PRR at age nine on July 6, 1886. He retired from the PRR on November 30, 1947 at age 71. His record of service, which I believe is the longest of any PRR employee, is 61 years, 4 months, 28 days. He lived at 631 Rose Hill Drive in Altoona. His father's name was James Young. His mother's maiden name was Emma Ainsworth. James I and Emma were married by Rev. E.W. Kirby January 15, 1862 in Blair County, PA. James' wife was Elizabeth Belle (Stitzel) Young. She was born August 8, 1878 in Altoona. She died January 16, 1930. Her father's name was Joseph Stitzel. Her mother's maiden name was Clara Mills. Elizabeth was previously married to George Kiser and they had a son, George Eli Kiser, who lived with Elizabeth and James. Elizabeth had a sister named Corrie Stitzel from Altoona.
