Is anyone connected to Joseph YOUNG who was bap at St. Marys, Carlisle, CUM, 11 Dec 1814. His parents were Matthew and Maria (TOPPING) YOUNG who marr at the same church 26 Oct 1806. Joseph's sister,Maria, was bap at the same church 6 Sep 1807. Joseph and his wife, Mary Jane GIBSON, emigrated to South Australia with their 3 daughters, arr there on the 'Sultana' 7 Oct 1852. They had another daughter on 17 March 1854 at Port Adelaide, Sth. Aust. Joseph became Secretary of the Trinity Board at Pt. Adelaide, but died 16 Sep 1854. Iris from Auckland, New Zealand
