Hello, I just found a small amount of information ( www.genforum.com ) about some YOUNG people who migrated from Ireland to Massachusetts/USA around 1850. They were born around the 1810-1815 timeframe. They settled in Worcester County, MA. But, at least one of them moved to Killingly, CT, soon after. (Windham County, CT) As per my other posting, I am looking for a Jonathan YOUNG, possibly related to the Samuel YOUNG (above families), and Jonathan's son, Abner YOUNG, born in Killingly, CT, in 1855. Hello All, This is a real long shot as I have not come across anyone researching the same family as me. I am looking for anyone that is researching Benjamin YOUNG born around 1841 in Hadspen, Pitcombe, Somerset UK who married Sarah ?? from Blaenavon, Monmouthshire UK and who emigrated to the coalmines of Pennsylvania around 1870's with at least 3 children, all born in Blaenavon. Benjamin's father was William YOUNG born Pitcombe 1816. Any contact welcome. Bye Eileen Boyt, Carmarthen
Hello, I'd like to know if this is the correct List for asking about YOUNG families in the USA. If it is not, could someone tell me which List I should subscribe to? I am looking for information on Abner Seth YOUNG who was born in 1855 in Killingly, CT. I am researching the DEXTER families in Killingly, CT, and I would very much like to know if Abner YOUNG's son, Earl YOUNG, born 1882 in Killingly, CT, had any children. Does anyone have information on siblings of Isaac Young, Jr. b. c. 1815 SC to Isaac Young, Sr. and an unknown mother in Williamsburg Co. (once Georgetown District), SC? Isaac Young, Sr. was born sometime before 1774 in an unknown location. In the 1800 census, there was one young male child and an adult woman in the Isaac Young, Sr.'s household that are both unidentified, so far. The boy could be a sibling or half-sibling of Isaac Young, Jr. and the woman could be his mother. The household does not appear in the 1810 census, but does appear in the 1820 census. In this census, there are several children in the household, most of whom could be Isaac Young, Jr.'s step-siblings. The child shown in the 1800 census would have been over 20 and most likely on his own. I am also seeking information on Isaac Young, Sr.'s last wife, Martha and her children. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Melanie Y.

Hello to all, I promised to let you all know the out come of this and I am writing to let you know that they found the girl yesterday afternnoon. Joshua and Ashley can now be laid to rest and hopefully her mother can now try to find some peace of mind. It won't be easy, but with God, our family and all the support she is recieving, hopefully she will be alright. This will be my last post on this subject. I would like to thank the list managers for allowing me to post these e-mails. If it was'nt for all the responses and support from everyone who was concerned I would not have continued to post. To all who have sent their prayers and support, I want you to know that you have helped to make a very difficult time a little easier. I know that their mother has appreciated everything and I am sure that Joshua and Ashley heard all the prayers for them also. Right now it looks like a Service is being held for them Friday. Thank you all again for the love you have all shared. Sandy noordhof@swbell.net
