    1. [YOUNG] YOUND/DEMEAUX marriage, Philadelphia??
    2. David B. Demeaux
    3. YOUNG Has anyone seen a YOUNG/DEMEAUX connection anywhere. I am looking for J. L. DEMEAUX and Mae YOUNG, married about 1900, possibly in France, England or in Philadelphia, PA, USA. They were in the Philadelphia area by Oct 1904 for the birth of their son Jean Louis Demeaux (my father). The Philly vital records office does not have a record of this birth, so I am thinking it was near, but not in Philly. Thanks for any help you can give. 3. Hello, I am desperately looking for information on my Great Great Grandmother Hannah Young. Hannah was the only name I have ever found her under. She was married to W.D. or William David Pruitt. She was born the 21st of July 1863 in Alabama and died in Walker County, Alabama on 04 July 1935. According to her death certificate, of which I have a copy, her parents were Tim or Tom Young and Siss McCollins. Any help would be appreciated. I have posted this several times with no luck whatsoever. I am hoping to hear from someone this time. Karen Langley Powell

    3. Karen, Can you check the 1930 census to see where her parents were born? Then, perhaps you could continue back through the censuses for info on them. 3. Hello, Whenever I can, I like to spread the word about the "British Home Children." I just did a search at the web site for the Canadian Archives, and there were ..200.. who had the surname, YOUNG. http://www.archives.ca/02/02011003_e.html If you would like to learn about the "British Home Children" (aka "Home Children, Canada"), you can do a search for either term, or you can visit this web site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~britishhomechildren/ If I have already posted this information, I apologize. But, there always can be newcomers who haven't seen it. My YOUNG's are the families connected to the DEXTER families in Killingly, CT, during the 1800's. It is not my book, if you have questions you may can email the seller from the page below. Maybe it would be good if the index was placed on a webpage somewhere! The full name index is in the photos, there are many surnames to look through. The url is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2922478196 Hope it helps someone, Lisa

Also we have Robert Emert Young born February 21, 1880, and died September 28, 1959, Warren L. born November 27, 1879, died March 09, 1880, in Mendon Township, Chariton County, Missouri, Mary E. Our Henry is supposed to have been born in Ohio, but so is his father. Also our Henry is in the 1880 census showing him in Chariton Cty. MO. If any of you have any information on this group we are longing to hear from you. In the meantime we did come across this stone. On the top it was inscribed with OUR BEST. The stone shows the name in the front, Maria B. Young Dec. 28, 1842 July 30, 1908. If you know anything about this person I would like to know who she may be and maybe we can tie her into our Young group. Thank You. Judy Born with a 12 foot question, looking for a 6 inch answer
