He was a painter and glazier. He moved to Gloucestershire and married Susannah Staples b. 1809 in Islington, London. James and Susannah's children were Alfred, Frederick, Sarah E., Ellen and Maria (my g grandmother). James' father's name was John. Scassia was born in KY, June 19, 1883, but no known Countyor City name. Scassia had brothers named Everett O. and Rolly both b. in MO., 1885 & 1886 respectfully, and Love Veter John D. both b. in TX, 1896 and 1903, respectfully. Sisters named Connie Mae b. in TX in 1899; Goldie B., Gladys, and Bessie, no known birthdate or birthplaces. Nor do I know who these girls married, or where they married. His will was dated June 6, 1774 and proved in 1801. Their children were Daniel, Mathias, and Geils. Daniels' brothers were Mathias and John. Strasburg Township. (PA) Does any of this sound familiar?
