If you want to read historical fiction and at the same time learn about Yorkshire and the implications of Robert Aske's rebellion read CJ Sansom's 'Sovereign'. It is a whodunit based around the time of Henry viii's visit to York. Sansom did his research at the Borthwick prior to writing the book.
