The odd thing is, though, that I found it at the main general FamilySearch website but it does not appear at the IGI search site (check for yourself). I can only assume this is because it was an LDS submission and these seem to have been discarded, at least for the time being. A faded-out link for "Community contributed IGI" says "coming soon". I seem to have lost the old IGI search site which I much preferred. I had it bookmarked but now get a message saying "not found" when I try to call it up. I don't much care for the new site but I suppose I'll have to get used to it! -- Roy Stockdill Genealogical researcher, writer & lecturer Newbies' Guide to Genealogy & Family History: www.genuki.org.uk/gs/Newbie.html "There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about." 3. The IGI can be found at https://familysearch.org/search/collection/igi As far as I am aware (and I'm sure I will be corrected) , the IGI collections were gradually being transferred to the Familysearch site, and that eventually the IGI as we knew and loved it, will be no more.
