Check the small print on their websites if you don't believe me. You are allowed to use the data for your own personal use only and not send it to third parties. People seem to disregard this and think this is not important, but it is! You ignore it at your peril. Companies like Ancestry and Findmypast have paid out millions of pounds to purchase exclusive rights to bring the information to us and have a right to protect their investment. I happen to know that FMP in particular have removed people from their books for breaching the agreement. Asking others to send you images from any census is a form of theft, a bit like begging a cup of tea at railway stations.
