Nevertheless, Rebecca nee Hindle was the first wife of my gt grandfather, Benjamin Town. They married on July 15 1828 and then produced 30 children, all recorded in batches on a memorial stone in Keighley Parish churchyard. Rebecca died in 1851 after which Benjamin remarried and I am descended via his second wife. Rebecca was a twin so it seems probable that there were some twin pregnancies to have produced 30 children in 13 years.
